Spring is finally here, and so are the windows and siding on our Holmhurst Transformation project in Bethesda! The exterior uses a combination of 3 different siding options to scale down the large 5,000 sqft project into smaller proportions. On each facade you’ll see traditional horizontal siding, vertical siding with closely spaced battens, and larger paneling (rear bay projection). The subtle combination of white trim and prefinished artic white siding also adds another layer of variation to the exterior. The windows are sharply contrasting black Marvin Essentials, a fiberglass frame with insulated glazing. The owner opted for black soffits throughout at the roofline and front porch to further enhance the black & white color scheme.

Below are some updated interior images with the new windows. Ground floor mother’s suite; first floor fireplace, kitchen, sunroom.

Children’s bedroom, Primary bathroom.

Next on the agenda is sprinkler and insulation installation. Shortly thereafter we’ll move straight into drywall and final finishing to complete the project. We’re almost there !
