It’s been a while since we posted updates. Happy 2024! Our Holmhurst Transformation project is moving along nicely. It’s all framed up and they’re currently working on installing HVAC.
Siding is going up in some areas but will have to wait for our delayed window order. The rear multi-zone outdoor living space consists of a two-tiered rear deck, and four-season sunroom. The upper deck is actually the roof of the ground floor grandmothers suite. We originally had a wrap-around ramp in the plans but this was replaced with a future interior lift option.

The 13’ ceiling at the main entrance is a nice feature that you get when adding a new floor to a split-level home. This space is bookended by a see-through fireplace on the left and the main staircase on the right. In the living room there’s a dramatic steel beam that supports the second floor that creates a spacious open plan.

Bedrooms on the second floor have generous window openings for lots of daylight. There’s also a double height foyer that visually connects the 1st & 2nd floors.

Fingers crossed we’ll be wrapped up in May…
