Lead-safe renovation required for Woodridge Addition
Construction started on our Woodridge Addition, and begins with demolition of the existing rear rooms. Built in 1909, this Four
This project adds a two story rear addition and deck to a single family home. Approximately 8′ of the existing two story structure (mudroom and office) and deck will be removed. The addition creates a larger family room on the first floor with a new powder room and laundry (moved from the basement). The existing basement stair entrance obstructs a full-width addition at the first floor level but a bay window will make use of the entire footprint. On the upper level the main bedroom is enlarged to include a bathroom and more closet space. A fourth bedroom was inserted across from the existing bathroom. The guest bath will also be renovated with a slight increase in floor area.
