This is a project for the next-door neighbor of our previous Takoma Park Kitchen project. The new kitchen is approximately double the footprint of the previous galley kitchen. The powder room was relocated, and a small office was removed. The new kitchen now opens up to the dining room, doubles the storage, and provides a warmer selection of materials. On the second floor the primary bathroom was opened up and remodeled. The footprint was expanded slightly by moving a nonbearing partition.
